Hello! I’m Tavia.

First I just want to say: I’m so glad you’ve found me here. Let me share a little about myself and my work.

I’ve always known I had a creative streak in me—I started dancing when I was three; I took all the art classes I could in high school; I studied dance and theater in college; and I’ve been working in creative fields for over a decade here in Brooklyn.

Whether I was cultivating my own process, or collaborating with friends and peers, conversations around creativity were always at the core of my life. In collaborating, I learned how to ask the right questions, how to help my peers navigate their unique hurdles, and how to intuit when something was or wasn’t working.

In a way, I’d been coaching long before I could put a name to it. I began to notice a spark—I felt so alive in those conversations, watching them lead to next steps, or breakthroughs, or to projects blossoming in some new, unexpected way. I realized that an inextricable part of my creativity was helping other people in service of their own.

Let’s get to know each other a little better.
